Happy New Year

A rather large native dragonfly.

Gorgeous NZ bush with son Mitchell.

Over the last week I have been doing some great bush walks with son Mitchell. The weather has been perfect! The shop has been neglected. I have learnt how to make Alabama Slammers and Scarlet Pimpernels! Rather delicious cocktails I have to say! I am planning one more tramp through the Tongariro National Park before I settle properly back into work. Oh and there is the races tomorrow which could entail a bit more bubbly!! Happy New Year!

A busy November

I changed the shop around last week. The counter is now in front of new doors which go through into a covered courtyard. It is great but it does get very hot. I'm about to go down and hammer up some canvas to block the sun.

If you read the Sunday Star Times you may have noticed this family portrait of us last weekend. We are all looking very serious! The dog kept moving and I kept blinking everytime the flash went. Finn was desparate to get back on his motorbike!
